Air nozzle not working?

    I recently bought a King Arms POM air nozzle, ULTIMATE V.2. Tappet plate and a Madbull Hop-Up chamber and installed it into my DBoys M4 CQB. Before I installed the King Arms POM air nozzle and ULTIMATE V.2. Tappet plate, I had the standard tappet plate and a A.P.S. air nozzle and I was using the Madbull Hop-Up and everything was working grand. When I installed the new parts into the gearbox, there were no pellets coming out of the barrel. I look at the chamber and the air nozzle was going backwards and forwards, which meant it was working but I couldn't figure out why it was firing the pellets.

    If anyone knows anything, please let me know. Thanks.

    if you have a drilled cylinder make sure the drilled bit is closest to the air nozzle

    The cylinder I'm using at the moment has no drilled areas on it.

    could be something very simple, take the top receiver off and fire the gun a few times (try to minimise dry firing though) is the nozzle moving now? and is it moving properly? the tappet plate could have been installed incorrectly. after that it could be compatibilty issue with all the different parts.

    I had a look inside an A.P.S. M4 there the other day. I noticed the tappet plate and nozzle looked to be slightly different shape to what you'd expect, among other things. They don't seem to be direct Marui clone type yolks. Try using the new nozzle with the old tappet plate, and then the other way round. Get a process of elimination on the go.
    Sometimes the nozzle might just not be right for the AEG and you may need a different brand of the same nozzle. A tiny difference in size/shape can affect feeding.

    I've checked everything and all I can see is the air nozzle moving normally which means the tappet plate is working. I've also check the Hop-Up chamber and I just curious, can the bucking if I'm correct, have any effect of the pellet not exiting out the barrel or a spring of some sort?

    You actually might be right. I'll try that now and see what happens.

    APS' airnozzle will only work with APS hop up AFAIK but I thought the OP realised this unless i miss interpreted the post above.

    Yeah I already know that the A.P.S. air nozzle will only work with it's own chamber but I've tried it in a DBoys and the Madbull Hop-Up's just to see and I've never had a problem with them. I would like to use the King Arms POM air nozzle I got so I'll have a look at the tappet plate first.

    Problem sorted. The ULTIMATE V.2. Tappet Plate was WAY TOO LONG for the sector gear to pull back fully, thus causing the air nozzle not to feed any pellets. I've replaced it with the DBoys tappet plate for now and I have the King Arms POM air nozzle installed. Makes it sound way better and hopefully it'll improve accuracy and the amount of air going into a shot.

    @Mando Commando:
    Just wondering are you ever down at Tigerland and know how to fix a DBoys M4 not firing semi as it will only shoot full auto for me. Thanks.

    Big thanks to everyone else.
