Well you can schedule backups.

I'd recommend using Cobian Backup.

You select the files/folders you want to backup and then select the destination. This can be set to run at a select time.

If you wanted a "live update" scenario. (IE if you're working on excel sheets or a word document), I'd go for dropbox.

Also easus disk copy might be an option too.
