Surely the cartridges purchased by Aonghus Mac Snodaigh were the most expensive ever purchased by any member of Sinn Fein.

There is an alternative: the fantasy money tree. ULA also have access to this tree.

Vote SF/ULA for wise and just government, courtesy of the magical money tree.

Sinn Féin are not the answer to the housing crisis that was caused by Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael. Sinn Féin want to keep house prices high by opposing evictions of mortgage defaulters. Another tactic Mary Lou is trying to keep her own house at a high price and young people unable to afford to buy, is by supporting mortgage relief in order to prevent houses going on the market which is what is needed for houses to fall in price so young people can afford to buy them.

Irish governments have borrowed 200 billion euro since 2008 and all of that money has been used to inflate properties like those belonging to Varadkar, Martin and McDonald. The reason we have nothing tangible to show for that extra 200 billion on our national debt is because it wasn`t used to build anything. It was just used to make houses unaffordable to young people, that`s all.

Sinn Féin want to continue excluding young people from home ownership.

If they were serious about undoing the damage caused by FF & FG, they would exhort the following redress:

    1) Tax existing properties much more heavily.

    2) Exempt new builds from the tax for 20 years.

    3) Exempt first time buyers from the tax for 20 years.

    4) Use the money raised from the tax to pay down the national debt.

This would result in existing homeowners selling their homes and buying new houses to escape the tax. This would lead to a market driven construction boom. It would also result in a lot of the existing housing stock going on the market, which force house prices down, making them affordable to young people who would be exempt from the property tax.

But, Sinn Féin won`t do this which is why I see them as no different to FF or FG.
