Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong section but I'm looking to find out how to change to page layout of firefox. I somehow messed mine up. I hit something earlier by accident and now I can't get it back to the way it was.
Before I had my bookmarks drop down section to the far right of the bookmark toolbar and beside it the home icon. Also I had the www searchbar section on the left (its nowhere now). Instead there is windows format with File, Edit, View etc.
I'm hoping someone can advise me. I've messing around for the guts of an hour and its driving me mental. Thanks in advance,

If you've updated to the latest version you might see that there's a new firefox button when it's maximised (top left).

Right click at the top and click customise. You should be able to drag/drop buttons (bookmarks and toolbars) and fix the layout.

Firstly thanks but I'm not seeing that at all. Top left is the File, Edit, View etc with tabs below. I've gone through them all but nothing is bringing me back to how it was. God its frustrating. Seems crazy I've nowhere I can copy and paste a url into or even refresh a page. I know f5 will do that but still

No don't right click on that I was saying to right click on a black space (beside where you would usually click for a new tab....right click and select "customise").

You could try click on the firefox button and then options. There should be checkboxes for the toolbars. For example make sure navigation toolbar is ticked.

Right click on "File, Edit, View etc." (i.e. the menu bar) and remove the tick where it reads Menu Bar in the drop down menu.

And you're back to the default layout:
