So. Thinking of upgrading my G&G cm16, shoots near the joule so am considering a Tanio Koba barrel, or would a 6.04/3 be as good, any thoughts?

wouldn't bother upgrading it then, unless you're talking about just a barrel and hop up set up, but as for gearbox upgrades I wouldn't bother.

Not going near the gear box, just looking for accuracy.

A good quality barrel and hop up bucking would probably do the job.

A madbull black tighbore is probably your best choice ,I personally found the tk twist barrel suited bolt action and pistols or semi only aegs better than in a standard aeg ,over all a tighbore Will give a lot tighter groupings overall and a decent hop will give a improved range

Was looking at a 6.03 madbull alright, though I tend to shoot semi, and will begetting lo caps, seems to be a better (cheaper) solution. That said as I'm shooting close to the joule am worried would push it over the limit. Might start off with a good quality bucking.

Be aware that a tight bore barrel will increase your fps slightly.

Yeah reckon a tightbore would push me over, how much would one add to your fps?

can vary my M4 was firing at .98J stock and then with the TBB it brought it to like 1.3J or so (converted into FPS that's roughly 325ish to 370fps)it really can vary though, a hop up will add maybe 5 or 8 FPS but it depends one what combination you through into it, put the hop up and barrel into it and then chorno is and downgrade as required.

personally i would put in a mad bull black pyton barrel(6.03) and a mad bull hop up unit to improve accuracy and to deal with a high fps you could put in a weaker spring.my only advise is that if you really want accuracy follow this route although beware it will cost a bit but once you get them there worth it.
