Mitsubishi L200 vs Kia Sorrento

I am recently self employed so would be able to get commercial tax but I am wondering of the two which would be better.

I work with horses so would be towing but not all the time. I need back seats so hence I went for a crew cab. But I am more inclined to go for a 2.5 for the time being.

I would be looking at an 06/07 model in the Kia and later 07 model in the Mitsubishi.

I have seen an l200 for sale on carzone, it's a garage and they are looking €9950. Obviously I want the best value so do you think I have a bit of room for haggling. It has about 60,000 miles on the clock.

Although the more I read about the Sorrento the more I like, what do you all think? Oh and I realise I would be paying more road tax on the sorrento but I'm ok with that.

I have the money ready and waiting :)

Hmmm I was thinking about these but aren't they going to absolute fuel guzzlers!!!?? well more so than the two I mentioned? Especially an older version.

had a 2004 sorento - bulletproof machines, can be easily found with all the leather/climate/wood/heated seats on them for silly money

Given the reviews of them that I've been reading recently, I'd be inclined to go with the Sorrento. Most likely be more stable when unloaded too.

Best option of course is to test drive both and see which you prefer yourself :)

The more and more I hear I am inclined to go with the sorento! Luckily a friend has one so am going to see if she will let me take it for a test drive with the horse box!

I had a sorento and would buy one again in the morning.

A great workhorse, easy to service too.

Get a GSE with all the toys.......not bad at all.
