Hi, Is it only me or has anybody had experience of 3000 series masseys constantly blowing the worklight switches! I have had a 3095 before that blew them regularly and now my 3120 is doing the same. Is there a fix for this.

what do you mean by "blowing"

The one for the front work lights on my 3120 went the Monday night, when I press it in it wont stay in so I cannot keep the lights on unless I keep the switch pressed !! but at least it was not the back ones.

Where can you get the switches ? are there aftermarket ones or have you to get then from Massey ?

It sounds like you have a different problem. When you push the switch in do the lights come on? If so then the switch is not blown , just the locking action is broken. If you take the switch out I would say you could fix it. The top pulls off them. Massey dealer is the only place I am aware u can get them. Vapormatic used to do them but not any more. German Rocks where can u get them for €36. My local dealer wants €50.

    Cheers

Clicks in and out OK just making a bad connection.

Any trick in taking out the switch when the top is off. Does it just it just pull out or I have I to remove a panel and start disconnecting wires ?

    Cheers

The easiest way I find of taking them out is to get a small pliers and when u have the top off, just gently grip a side of the switch and wriggle it and pull and it will pull out. There is a block connector on the back that you can pull off but be careful that the block connector does not disappear back into the slot as there is very little slack on the loom. In any case it is not difficult to take off the bottom kick panel under the dash. There is just a few screws holding it in.
