go to goole translate and copy and past your manual, I have a paper one, but would be huge when scanned.

What info on the boiler do you need?

Yea i tryed to translate it but i could not do it. High and low burner pressures (nat gas) is mainly what im after. Thanks

That's not a HE boiler like the Kompressor then?
Does it not have a data badge?

No it is not a HE. It has a data badge (well sticker) on the side of the boiler but again its all in polish and there is notting on it that relates to the burner pressures as far as i can see. I put my FGA in the flue and the CO went through the roof 400ppm +. I really need the MI for the burner pressures ect and to make sure she is running to manufactures spec.

Even without MI, you can surely work backwards from heat input gas rating to ensureax BP is correct, then if still getting high CO work to the route of the problem regarding flue recycling, air intake etc as sounds like a combustion problem Assse you have isolated said boiler until you get it sorted

Ive gas rated the boiler already its defo a combustion problem, the boiler is being over gassed, i gas rated the boiler and it was coming out at near 27KW/h and its a 24KW boiler. I defo need the burner pressures.

Oh and forgot to say i have the fuse took out of the fused spur.

24kw output? 27kw input wouldn't be far away for a standard efficiency boiler
Assuming you did a FGA as you said you measured lots of CO, did you FGA the air intake? If so what reading?

Taking the fuse out is no isolated at all

Thanks DGBOS i surely did do a FGA the air intake 20.9 was my result, so there was no flue recycling there. Burner pressures as stated is the prob.

As for isolation: fuse removed. 70 year old lady wont go playing much with appliance (I HOPE)

What is the boilers stated rated heat input nett or gross?
    Assume 24kw is the output?

    Yea 24kw is the output.
I dont know if the boilers stated rated heat input is net or gross to be totally honest with ya.

Think i may wash my hands with this one. Ive just hit a dead end with it.. I was talking to the lady in the house next door to her and she had the same boiler, it brokedown a couple of months ago, rang bord gais, chap came out to try and fix it and ended to ripping the boiler off the wall and replacing it.

Why not pm me for my email and send me the polish manual see if I can make heads or tails of it, also a mate is polish and maybe will drop round for some translation

Does the data badge only state output (normally states input too) but if it's rating at 27kw inout for 24kw output can't be a million miles away for a standard efficiency boiler.

Check the injector of blockage, make sure the burner bar hasn't an cracks or splits in it, is the flame being impinged somehow? what does the flame picture look like? whats the working and burner pressures measured? is the heatexchanger clogged up? is the fan running at speed (have had slow running fans before, clue would be the co2 and o2 levels on your FGA)

A pic of the databadge maybe useful to help. I hate having boilers like that, and would kill me not to get to the bottom of it.

The only other thing is, as an older Polish boiler, it may never have been intended for use in Ireland (is it CE marked?) fact that an english manual is not available would raise suspicion, as far as I am aware natural gas pressure in Poland in not 20mbar, think it's 25 or 30! some countries use G25 fuel which would have a different methane content (different Wobbe number) and would be akin to having an un-coverted appliance.

I will be going back to her house sat morning hopefully to sort it. As for the manual i put a post up here over a year ago and a chap called yoshytoshy put a link up for it. If you just type ulrich wandich into the boards.ie search you will get the thread on it and ya can download the manual from there. Have a look at it and see what you can make of it. I also went onto there website and emailed them but got no reply. Your email address could be handy if i knew how to get it:o
