Problems with iPhone 4S

    Hi all

I got a new iphone 4s two weeks ago with O2, upgraded from 3gs. I have a data limit of 150Mbs per month and I can buy add-ons as needed for more internet. Usage generally was around 700mb per month on old phone.

I was in the O2 shop the other day and was going through the account with the guy as I got a msg from O2 saying that my allowance had been reached after 4 days! Very unusual. It appears that an app is automatically updating every night at about midnight and is using exactly 49.5mb of data every week night.

Anyone have any ideas how I may find out which app is using this data so I can stop it or delete the app??

    Thanks for any help

Afaik any usage over 48kb is listed as 49.5mb, so it's unlikely any app is actually using that amount. Rather you are getting charged daily for the fact that you are using data at all. The iPhone is constantly accessing the internet, to check your email and for any number of other background reasons. Until you get a data add-on or your allowance is renewed you can turn off Cellular Data in Settings > General > Network.

Sorry, that only applies to prepay customers actually. But from the sound of it the OP is a heavy user if they were previously using 700 a month. The 49.5 on the bill means they used over that amount in the course of the day.
