    Hello,

I've been thinking of buying these and installing them on the standard GT TDI headlights. There is 2 CCFL inverters with them, could this cause any problems installing them. I would like them to come on with the parker lights. Has anyone ever used or know anyone who has got these and installed them? I have looked for a guide on installing them but can't find much help.

Also anyone educated with lights and such could you tell me if these would be any good. I like the blue of HID's, but don't want to be blinding every other road user and have burning ears every time I drive at night. It says they are a direct replacement for existing bulbs, I know HID's need some sort of conversion kit would these bulbs?

Thanks very much for any help you can give.

    Cheers

    James

I would imagine it involves putting the cluster in the oven at a low temp, removing the lenses etc.

Sounds like it could be complicated. Won't be a simple as fixing to the lights and wiring to the parkers so.

Think about it, they go between the reflector and the lens.

Ok, I must have a good look at the lights. I thought there would be some way of getting the lens off? Then a matter of feeding the wires through where the bulbs fit in?
