Holy sh1t man that was bad. I wonder was it a blowout or did the driver fall asleep, whatever it was it was one nasty bang. could have hit a bit of slush there as well.

    Presume he was killed?

he was killed on impact. it could happen any of us driving in those conditions or from someone using a phone or texting and just lose control. that video should be taken down from youtube. if not the youtube comments should be disabled as there are idiots making plenty a joke about it. not nice at all.

presume he was ...if there is nothing left of the jeep i dont think there is much left of anyone inside,,hard for the familly ,but yet again not driving to suit the road conditions,,acceleration up hill to pass in a rear wheel drive in icy conditions ,not a good idea also the guys videoing it driving in overtaking lane when inside is clear a lot of ppl not a clue yet think they great drivers..

but yes this is a tragic one hard for families on both jeep and lorry driver sides ,,lorry driver got to live with it the rest of his life..

For every internet tough guy with a witty comment there will be 10 people seeing it and horrified and feeling nothing but sympathy for that man and his family i have no doubt.

Rip to that fella pitty he had to die when something as simple as a metal divider would of prevented such an accident

Is it just me who does not get why would anyone want to watch a crash in which someone dies?

I can't understand it at all.

Terrible alright. I know it's terrible for the driver and family but thank god a whole family wasn't in it with kids and all. It was just a driver?

The jeep just smashed like it was ALL glass. Where's the median barrier thingy?

Why? Censorship hasn't been passed into law yet thank God.

If anything else it will show people the real horror what can happen with a head on collision as some people have the impression they're driving around in tanks!

Im sure the family of the driver will be thrilled at the fact that their loved ones last moments are plastered all over youtube for everyone to watch over and over again simply for their amusement, very insensitive. If only people knew the total devastation this causes a family whose lives have in an instant changed forever.

I don't see this video as amusement, I see it as a warning to take care when driving in dangerous conditions.

They probably spent the money on Gatso Vans.

Didnt refer to you referring to the video being uploaded to youtube in the first place just commenting in general not aimed at you at all apologies if it seemed that way.

I know it wasn't aimed at me. It was a general comment and I gave a general reply. I think a lot of people would see the video in the same light I see it though.

Just shows the energy that the big trucks have TBH. I remember the NRA here saying that central barriers were not required .

    That is one HUGE smash.

Fair enough probably as i lost a brother in a car accident just outside our home and we were the first people to arrive on the scene of the accident i guess i see it from a different perspective. Not very nice to see your brother lying dead in a car believe me a vision which will haunt me for the rest of my life.
