Hi guys!

Im afraid this post is going to be a little vague but ill give as much information as i can

Im a 22 year old musician, based in galway ATM but willing to travel anywhere for the right band/people. i dont really know how to describe what im looking for in a band so i figure if i describe myself then maybe like minded musicians will know what i mean?

im a guitarist/singer, very proficient at both and id like to start or join an originals band that aimed to write the best songs/music that they could across as many genres as they felt like, be it soft rock/acoustic/hard rock/metal/technical/pop/pop-punk/indie/electronic etc. it might sound odd to some but theres plenty of bands out there who dont do it.

i also mean that the band wouldnt just be a jam session kindof thing but something all of the members would be fully committed to with a secondary aim (after the fulfilment of creating the music) to doing something about it in a serious way, which is also something that i have experience with but would rather discuss that topic over PM.

influences, gender and age arent madly important but members in or around my own age would be best i guess. influences are hard to cover due to the nature of what im looking for but my influences would be more rooted in new-ish music as opposed to classic rock or earlier but just because i might not be influenced by the same music doesnt mean i wont like it. gender ofc isnt an issue.

so, a bit of an essay later and i finally have my post. if theres any interest ill be glad to reply with more details. any specific questions ill gladly answer through PM

Hey, I'm a guitarist based in Galway. Only have a classical at the moment but I used to play bass and electric guitar but had to sell them both. Anyways, my influences are from Metal and Death Metal but I listen to alot of Electronic and Dubstep, industrial as well as some really odd ****. I play anything from Primus (on bass) to Opeth. But I am limited to a classical guitar at the moment unfortunately.

Well if you're willing to travel anywhere... :P we're an outer dublin based band looking for a skilled lead guitarist, we're aged 16-19 though but we've had a lot of success with recording, photoshoots and an academy gig just waiting for us, if you're interested at all please PM me and here's a link to a crappy home recording that does the job, we've got an alternative rock/synth/heavy rock sound
