    Hey guys,

Friend needs to commute from Leixlip to Clondalkin village as she got a new job there recently. There doesnt seem to be many options for her to get from a to b, as there is no real link up service. Any tips? Also, the 76 is looking like the best bet, but how long does the route take? Like what tiome would she need to be on it in the morning if she got on at its terminus near Liffey valley?

    Thanks

Take the 66, 66a or 66b from Leixlip to Chapelizod, get off at the West County Hotel. From here take the 76, 76a or 76b to Clondalkin Village.

I'm not sure what time your friend is traveling at but I'd allow 25 minutes for the journey from Leixlip to Chapelizod and 20 minutes from there to Clondalkin.

Thanks for that. They'd be commuting, so theyd need to be in Clondalking village by 9. Do all 76/a stop at that stop? The time time is difficult enough to read.

Yes, the 76, 76a and 76b all serve that stop (2243).

All 76, 76a and 76b services serve the stop opposite the West County Hotel, as do the 66, 66a and 66b.

To be sure of getting to Clondalkin for 0900, I'd suggest that the 0810 departure from the West County Hotel will definitely get there in time, and the 0830 ought to be there or thereabouts, depending on traffic.

The question I can't answer is which departure from Leixlip will get to the West County Hotel by either of those times.

Note - Do not take the 66X as it bypasses the West County Hotel.

On the return journey - transfer between routes on the Kylemore Road under the flyover - you need to cross over the road.

Except the 76A, this bypasses the last stop on the very northern section of Kylemore Road as it continues on towards Palmerstown and Blanchardstown. In this case, alight the 76A at its next stop on the Palmerstown Bypass and pick up the Leixlip bus from the very same stop.
