Getting a strange vibration when idle. Car is idling just above normal. It was due a service which I did, and it's still there. No fault codes present. Something tells me its a pulley or pump on its way...

Does it still do it when the clutch pedal is0pressed? Have you noticed any juddering from clutch on take off? Could be flywheel if it shows any of those symptoms?

it may be the dreaded DMF(dual mass flywheel) and if it is,its gonna cost ya...............

If its a 5 speed it won't be so bad, can get a solid conversion for them.

That's been done. Solid state flywheel and clutch in place. 80k driven since change but I'll put that theory to the test later on a report back.

Hi new member. I have a 04 Passat 130bhp and the engine when idle it's shaking/vibrating and when driving is the same. Vibration can be felt inside of the car. Would be a injector problem or any help on any thoughts what it may be?
    MILEAGE is 230000 miles

Before you do anything. Check the injector loom/harness.
Make sure each connector is seated solid and tight, you could even remove each connector one by one and spray with switch/contact cleaner before pushing them nice and tight back in place..
your connectors are all under the rocker cover, about 10/12 wee bolts to remove rocker, random unbolting and rebolting :) do not over tighten rocker bolts...
    .
Be careful not to crack the connectors when removing, if you do just recover any wee plastic pieces that have come off.

    Get the camshaft checked too.
