Offered one month work abroad

I've been potentially offered one months work abroad during the summer.
Its in a non EU country. I am wondering how that would affect my JSA (on JSB now but it finishes in 2 months) and also rent supplement. Would I have to reapply for both when i got back? Could I put a freeze on it just for that time?

Its a pipe dream at the moment. The idea was mentioned to me by a friend who lives abroad. She's offered to get me work for a month if i want it. She's in the position to do so. Will even take her holidays then so she can look after my son so I could take him with me.

I just want to know what the repercussions would be when I am weighing up the pros and cons of taking up the offer.
Its in an area I havent worked before but at this stage I would like anything so I can have it on my CV and picking up bits of a foreign language cant be bad either.
