    I want one...

    Link

A phone that docks within a tablet that docks to a keyboard. And watch the video - you can answer the phone using the stylus if you're using the tablet :D:D

I am so drooling over this tech. I'm not usually one to post memes but in this case, Asus:

This looks ridiculous to me. Is the small phone battery supposed to power the tablet on its own? What are you supposed to do if your phone rings while you're watching a film or playing a game?

Theres a seperate battery in the tablet shell.
I assume your tablet behaves like a phone with the loudspeaker on with a phone call. So notification pops up and you answer or ignore

The tablet charges the phone, and when you are using the tablet you can take calls using the stylus which is also a Bluetooth headset/handpiece

I'm not really seeing the purpose of this still.

    ?
If someone wants both a tablet and a phone, this will probably save them money.

From what I understand you don't actually have both though. The tablet is useless if someone is using the phone, or am I wrong?

Sounds great to me. Definitely something I will look to buy depending on price, full reviews etc.

I think that's the whole point, wife can't steal my tablet without getting hold of my phone first!

I don't really see the problem, other than this is not going to be a hours tablet to be shared by the household, and if that is what you want but a dedicated tablet, but pay for 2 processors

Where can you buy these things? I may be a bit thick but the Asus site doesn't link to any stores. Do they sell in any stores? Or do you just buy from Amazon?

I know this one isn't out yet, but I was looking at the transformer prime before, and could only find resellers on amazon.

Somehow, its horrific and amazing at the same time.

I remember about 2000 or longer ago there was a computing concept that got some media coverage of personal hand held computers you could use on the go sort of like a smart phone without the phone part and then plug into keyboard screen etc for normal computing functions. This is like that except it is also a phone (which was kind of a necessary component in retrospect since who would carry around lumps of silicon if they didnt' allow you to communicate ?)

In any case - that promo video nearly made me puke :pac:
