I bought a new MacBook Air about a month ago and I have to say am really impressed. Its main intended purpose is travelling both on business and pleasure. I have been having a slight issue with finding a suitable media player though. So far I have tried Plex, VLC and Quicktime running Perian but none of them match the features of what I'm running on my Windows boxes, namely Media Player Classic Home Cinema (as part of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack). In particular I am looking for a player which can stretch the video to match the window in fullscreen mode (overriding aspect ratio), move to the next file in the folder at the end of play and both normalize and boost the audio. It would also be nice if it acted as a DVD player (though that's not essential). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

VLC 2 was recently released and adds some new Library and playlist features that might be able to match what you are looking for. Can't say about your AR requirements though.
