    Hi,
I'm new to cycling but want to get stuck in, and am looking for an entry level or better road bike in decent condition (something like a trek 1.2) for €200-350. I'm only 5 foot so a 47" or even smaller would suffice. I'm Dublin-based.
    Thanks.

Hi - I am not offering a bike, but just advise. I am a 154cm, 5foot just like you. Here is what I ride to give you an idea. Trek sz43, Specialized Sz44 and Giant sz42, Dolan sz45. All these should fit you.

I actually went into a bike shop this evening and tried a trek 1.2 47cm and that size is perfect, if anyone has got anything of similar spec that would be great.

Sorry OP for jumping onto your post but I have a friend looking for an entry level road bike and she's 5 foot 3. I think a frame around 50cm is the size she needs.
So if there is anything that's too big for you it might suit my friend.
Please let me know if you have anything suitable.

No worries, will let you know. Found a barely used 2010 trek 1.2 47cm for 660 which I'd love, but really stretches my funds. I would rather it to the uk based one overall though. Having a think about it, no other offers at the moment though, and dying to get cycling!
