Hi, I have a Laptop connected to a docking station in my office. I recently purchased two flat screen monitors and would like to connect both to the docking station. The is a VGA and DVI port on the docking station and the Laptop seems to recognize that there is two monitors connected but I cannot get them to work together. I can use the Laptop screen and one monitor together but not the two monitors. Do I need a different graphics card for this to work or is there a simple way around it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

have you tried disabling the laptop monitor to get the 2 to work. Your graphics hardware will not support 3. Even desktop GPUs only support 3 or more under specific circumstances.

As overheal said I expect the gfx card doesn't support 3 monitors. Most don't.

You'd have to give more info on the hardware so people could do some digging on it for you.

You can use all 3 displays with an additional USB graphics adapter, if you want. ;)

I'd forgotten about them. Look at Matrox products.

Targus do a USB replicator with vga output. I can three displays with it. There will be some lag with the USB vga - not a problem for office etc.
