My friend has a HKC secure watch alarm SW812/SW1212 (not sure of the model) and he wants to set up a part guard on it. The house is a bungalow and what he wants to happen is that when he sets part guard A the PIR in his bedroom is inhibited and the pir in the spare bedroom and the hall if activated will cause the alarm to beep for 30 seconds or until the code is entered to disarm the alarm and if no code entered the system will go into alarm. Just wondering is this possible we have the engineering code and the manual. Also wondering where do you connect in the tamper for the internal siren back at the alarm panel. Thanks.

In engineer goto zone options for each zone and turn on or off for Partset A and Partset B

If you go into zone types the PIR can be set up for entry/exit to have the beeps when you walk in front of the PIR with the system armed. There are two part guards on the system so he should utilize both to save having to set or inhibit from the keypad. This is set up in the zone options. The internal siren can be connected in series with the tamper return off the external bell or if there is a zone free it can be tampered in in the tamper terminals.

PiR should be programmed as Alarm not Entry Exit. If you want PiR on with an entry time for part set then programme that zone option for Access & set up Access to Entry exit in Part Set.
