    It's National Engineers Week!! To celebrate We have a whole week of events brought to you by your very own Engineering Society.

    Monday:

    Party
    We're kicking the week off with a lunch party in our very own Common Room. Free biscuits and sweets for everyone!!!

    Party from 12pm- 2pm in N109.

    Engineering Talk
    A wonderful talk on the latest innovations in engineering technologies presented by Dr Aubrey Dunne of the RINCE Institute.

    Talk located in S207 at 6.30pm

    Tuesday:

    Red Bull World Paper Plane Championships
    Who hasn't thrown a paper airplane in the back of T101. Well now its time to put those skills to the test. More information and the rules can be found here:

    Wednesday:

    Exhibition
    We're taking over the venue to bring to you the very best that engineering has to offer. There will be plasma domes and hip implants and model engines and a host of other items for your viewing (and maybe touching ;)) pleasure.

    R/C Car Racing
    As well as a cracking Exhibition, We will also be hosting Car racing on the day. Use one of ours or enter your own. There is no end to the fun as you fill your need for speed. Prizes are available for the winners.

    Thursday:

    Catapult Pong
    Find us in the NuBar where we've engineered the classic bar game. How you may ask? Why, by adding Catapults of course!!
    €2 entry. Case of Beer for the winners.

    Friday:

    BYOB Bowling
    Finish off the week with a few games and a few naggins, be grand!
    €10 a head for unlimited bowling from 9pm in the Leisureplex Coolock.
