Can anyone recommend a good go karting place around Limerick?
Dont mind if its indoor or outdoor track.

Kilcornan is a good track, head out the N69 to Foynes, off to your right before the petrol station in Kilcornan.

No affiliation, just been there a few times, good craic!

Kilcornan for outdoors is good, but the karts themselves are unbalanced (different speeds). If it had taken advantage of a new place opening up and just levelled the karts I would love it. Also nice that you can experience rain (some karts can just take the full lap at top speed).

Delta is a good indoor track (actually has two tracks), but sometimes feels too narrow.

There is another indoor track that I've heard good things about, but can't remember the name.....and haven't been there myself.

Yeah Killcornan is good fun but some carts can go around the track without lifting off, when you realize that its not as good but still fun.

As said, Kilcornan is a boring track, it's flat out all the way around. They upgraded their karts there about 3 years ago, which evened them out, but that probably only lasted about a month!! Even with the new karts it was flat out all the way around.
Abbeyfeale is a much better track, haven't been there in years though. Their karts were old enough last time I was there.
Delta is fine but track is narrow, and you can get caught behind a slow coach for too long, also even overtaking a slow coach will only give you about half a lap free before meeting another one due to the track being around 18 seconds upstairs and around 22 seconds downstairs.

Heading (hopefully) to abbeyfeale track this weekend, has anyone been there recently?

If Kilcornan had any sense they would reintroduce that little hairpin bend they used to have (that's still there but blocked off) and the track is wide enough on the first bend to make a kink or chicane. Such a boring track as it is, keep the foot planted on the throttle, never break. Yawn!

Haven't been to Abbeyfeale in years but I wasn't too impressed by the karts when I was there but the track is good.
