Does anyone know what is going to change regards licencing when new easa rules come into effect?
For Ppl holders, will there be any changes?

    Thanks

As far as I know "what you have you hold". I was worried about my ATPL exams as I have some left to go and they'd be sat past the changeover date, but the IAA said that anyone started under the old syllabus could continue as is.
As for PPLs I believe the changes will affect only new PPL holders....I could be wrong though.

The syllabus changes and some subjects content will change in March. The IAA said anyone who has previously sat exams will not be affected by the changes and "stay active" but those who are still on the old syllabus and yet to sit exams may be. This fact should probably be raised by the relevant FTOs if the student falls into this catagory. The changes have already come into affect with the CAA I believe.

If you are unsure contact your FTO or the IAA.
