Feel free to move this if it's in the wrong place. Firstly let me point out that I am Not talking about all people with disabilities. But off the top of my head I can think of 3 teenagers with vision and hearing disabilities. They go to mainstream school and to all intents and purposes live average lives and need no assistance bar a laptop in school. So why are they able to claim 188 euro per week. What do child going children need that for? Before I get my head bitten off these children are out drinking with their friends at the weekend, go to discos etc and basically use the money for their social lives and clothes. They dont pay for any sorr of special equipment for their disabilities its just pocket money. Am I alone in thinking this is crazy
