Any one else really dislike WWE's new line of shirt designs?

    A few examples:

Generally i dont like wwe shirts, but the last 2 years or so have seen me buying into a good few more than i ever would think. The Best in the world shirt, rise above hate and ive even checked out some broski merchandise at wweshop.com! but i really cant see any of these selling as well as the last batch has.

    Thoughts?

That Kofi one reminds me of littlebigplanet. When I clicked on this I was sure it was going to be a load of MMA Wannabe affliction tops.

In general, I hate wrestling t-shirts that are blatently wrestling t-shirts.

I went through a stage of getting every Orton shirt that came out, since they were just really cool designs, identifiable by wrestling fans as an Orton shirt, but to non-fans, just cool shirts...

Yeah i'd agree with that - these are kids shirts who want everyone to know they're wrestling fans; the standard "picture of a wrestler" awful-lookin' thing. These are all that.

Something else i just noticed, and shirt that doesnt have a wwe logo easily visible has the long standing "Authentic wear" patch.

I like that Kofi Kingston shirt, but why is there a Jamaican flag on it if he's from Ghana?

Was about to say the same thing. Didn't Punk make a "Jamaican me crazy" joke on commentary during Kofis match this week? Maybe they're planning on switching his back story again.

All aimed at children. WWE giving up on the older crowd unless it comes to forking out a fortune on something like WrestleMania.

They are really aimed at children. As said already, any shirt that blatantly sticks out as a wrestling one doesn't work, best off it leads to the standard awkward questions and the like if you wear it around. Not to mention making yourself look like a manchild when there's a wrestler on your tshirt.. The tags are irritating with older fans though, defeats the purpose of many orton and punk shirts when there's a big visible WWE on the side of it..

Shame too because when they actually do them right, some of them are pretty nice. The "Best in the World" tshirt from last year is fantastic tbh, any fan will recognise it though to the standard onlooker, its just a pretty class design on a tshirt and you can wear it about anywhere. Many of orton's designs are class too in the same way.

Last wrestling t-shirt I had was an old CM Punk ROH shirt, which didnt stick out as a wrestling shirt at all thankfully, just a decent design t shirt.

The WWE shirts over the last few years have been shít though, with that stupid 'authentic' patch that makes even the decent designed shirts look ****e.

I will say the "Rise above Hate" shirts they had back in November looked spot on though....
