no coverage on htc sensation xl

sorry if i have this in the wrong place. i have no coverage on my phone, i have it 2 weeks and just today the coverage has dropped completely, no bars at all

Have you restarted it, have you checked it's not on airplane mode, have you done a mobile network search in settings?

thanks for reply, i restarted it and its not on airplane mode, when i searched for networks it said failed.

Probably a failed sim card. Your network should replace it FOC. Best thing is to drop into a shop.

hmm thought it might of been dodgy if it was second hand or something. Did you try a simcard from a different network?

i took it apart and it seems to be ok now, very wary off letting any problems with it go past the 21 days because my last htc had to be sent away to be repaired 3 times.
