Just found a load of Trip Advisor City Guides in the market for Android. Has cities such as London, Barcelona, Sydney, Boston, Amsterdam and loads more. You can download the details in the app then don't need data roaming when there which is great.

Not a bad selection and the apps are quite detailed. There's a lot of data but that's automatically put on the SD card.
