Need some advice guys. i am a seriously unhappy Qsat customer.. Seriously need to get away from them. I have called them numerous times about my contract. Im with them since like November. Has anybody any experience about ending the contract? Like im not getting the service I want and the speeds/download allowance is ridiculous.. I CALL NEARLY EVERY MONTH COMPLAINING. I had no other broadband available at the time and now Eircom UNLIMITED USAGE ALLOWANCE IS AVAILABLE TO ME???

    What should I DO??!!!

If it's a technical problem and they can't provide the service you signed up for they should allow you to terminate your contact. They should allow you to do this. If not contact Comreg once you've exhausted every avenue with them. It shouldn't come to that.

Your download allowance is not really relevant to your problem as that's what you signed up for when you took out the contract. Maybe you can ask for an increase.

Eircom don't have an unlimited usage allowance plan. Are you sure you know what there offering you and sure they can deliver it. If your on Satellite broadband at the moment you'd want to be full sure your phone line is capable of receiving eircom service before agreeing to anything.

If you just wanted to walk away right now, you would need to pay the remaining months left in your contract or what ever contract termination fee you can agree with them.

okay so i checked phone line on the eircom website told me i was eligible for the next generation 8mb download..
To be honest with Qsat its not just the download allowance its the speed. I cant even watch a youtube video without it stopping. And then at peak times it ridiculous. Every time I call they tell me they are trying to sort out the congestion problems. I just dont know if that would cover me to cancel?
