I did this course. My main advise would be only do it if you are 100% sure that you want to work 14 hours a day for the rest of your career. (If you've already worked in industry then you'll have figured this out already). You will work (very hard) on a placements so don't go planning any summer holidays for the next 3 years. Its a good course if you are all about work and not into studying as you spend a lot of the course on placement. But do realise that if you want a career in senior management then you will need to do the BA / Masters at the end of it to fast track your progression. So inevitably you will be have your head in the books at some stage. The course involves a lot of project work which is basically like any business course, but just specialises in hospitality. The first 2 years are basically about operations e.g day to day hotel stuff and then the final year is really when the management modules kick in. My final year subjects were Marketing Management, Financial Management, Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management, Tourism Marketing & Business Law.

    Best of luck
