The Tesco finest meal deal has an option of coke or wine instead of the normal orange juice at the moment. I was surprised to see that the wine cost more by itself than the whole deal, if bought as part of the meal deal. I got a a Yali Wetland Merlot which was marked at €14. There were other wines that were marked higher too available as part of the deal (one was a sauvignon blanc I think)

Also got the veg lasagne, chocolate cheesecake and creamed spinach. Pretty good for €12.

I think it is pretty much standard that they mark up the wine in the meal deals.
M&S do it all the tim in their deals.

I guess it makes everyone feel better :)

Yeah but still - it's usually just a carton of orange juice.

Eh, no, there's always a bottle of wine as part of this offer - it's usually wine or orange juice (obviously they're offering coke instead of the juice at the mo).

Yep, always been wine or orange juice. I find the M&S deal for 50c more (and is on now) to be much better quality.

weird. Got it a few times before and never saw the wine option. Maybe it wasn't shown like that in Limerick, but probably just my mistake.

M&S food can be good alright. No m&S in Limerick though.

I find the wine in the Tesco deal to be much better - some of the M&S wine I've got in the past wasn't even suitable for cooking with!
