Does this mean my TRV's are working?

All my radiators (bar one) have TRV's. Usually a couple of the rads don't get very hot. One end-of-run bedroom rad tends to get lukewarm at best. I noticed a couple of days ago though, when the weather was fairly warm, that this particular rad had actually gotten hotter than usual - almost, but not quite, as hot as I'd like it to be in colder weather. Does this indicate that the TRV's on the other rads were doing their job of not requiring as much hot water go through them as on colder days, thus allowing more water to flow through to the bedroom rad? If so, does this also mean that the rads are actually balanced, but either the pump or the boiler itself aren't up to the job?

You're right on theTRVs, but the system needs balancing.
With regard to the boiler/pump not being up to it, I'd try the simpleist thing first, ie. balancing.

Spot on with the balancing. I'd say when the weather was warmer some of the other TRV's shut down allowing the last radiator to get more flow so say.
