We can show nearly anything that exists (and we can get a copyright for)

    Suggest anything!

Could be worth a laugh ;)

Where does the Film Society show films these days? What kind of projection and sound facilities - just the normal lecture room setup or something a little more immersive?

Seeing as we've just restarted it'll be just normal lecture room setup for the first while. :)

A suggestion for trips : 4 Dame Lane do free movie showings on Thursday nights. Could be nice for a bit of a change of scenery once in a while? It needs to be booked in advance though.

Thank you for the suggestions and a special thank you to Attol :) Dame Lane looks to be a good place to hit up.

Is Filmsoc about watching films or going into town to drink pints against a film backdrop? Just curious.

Where can we find out more about the soc? Didn't see it at the refreshers day. Is there a facebook page?

Now that's pretty unfair. I used to live around the corner from the Odeon which used to be home to the film nights that are now on in Dame Lane. The ones I went to attracted people who actually watched the films. It was nice to get out and watch classic films on comfy couches with some nice food.
