    Thought I'd share anyway, it may be of some use!

    I have had a fuelling issue with my van in the past. It was nasty but I got it sorted. Anyways, here's how it ran (don't mind the sound not in sync with the video it wasn't encapsulated properly on youtube)



    Now at the time, I don't know how I sorted it. I got out a heap of sensors from the store, changed the lot and hey presto it worked, running right again! :D

    Very recently, the same crap started again. No response until full throttle, very annoying to drive. So I narrowed it down to 2 components: pump relays or the oxy sensor. Swapped the relays 1st, made no difference. So I disconnected the oxy sensor. Started up normal, ran faultlessly, accepts half throttle. 150ish miles later the car is returning faultless driving and economy :)

    Now why am I telling all of you about my van and its running issue? Simple really. We all hear of the horrors of washed diesel, destroying pumps, sensors, filters etc. But this is a petrol engined van. Both times this happened I'd filled it up from nearly empty with a certain brand of petrol (on both occasions I had no option!) because it was cheap. Or was it cheap? I have to dig out a working sensor or if not fund €80 for a new one, due to something in the petrol that destroyed my sensor, again. Not much to many but an expense that could have been avoided nonetheless :rolleyes:

    So don't be just suspicious of cheap diesel, beware of cheap petrol too everyone! :)
