Mountain BikeStolen Need help!

    Hey all

    I am a student in UCC and my mountain bike was stolen from a house i am renting a Room in by UCC in Cork.
    Just wondering if the bike is not recovered is it possible to claim off some kind of household insurance even though the theft was in a rented property?

    The bike was taken from an enclosed garden at the back of the house with gardens in every direction.
