Why can I receive but not send SMS?

Any help? Only since this a.m., can make and receive phone calls, can receive SMS but cannot send them, keeps saying Message Sending Failed ! Grrrr I've switched the phone on and off three times and still no joy, it's Tesco/O2 network SGS 19000 phone

i would suggest trying to sim in another phone if you have access

also check that the message centre is set to +353894300000 (assuming tesco) or +353868002000 (if o2)

see how you get on with that for starts
