hospital porters

does anyone know who is in charge of hiring hospital porters as far as i know it is not the hospital anymore but an outside source, cheers

Depends on what hospital you want to apply to. Recruitment Office, HR will get your application to the correct person. Sorry to tell you though these jobs fall under the HSE moritorium on recruitment so no one is being taken on at the moment. You could try the private hospitals.

...and in addition to that, other staff who had been working in areas/departments which may have closed due to cutbacks are being redeployed into portering, cleaning etc. thereby reducing opportunities for new entrants.
