Problems with Meteor

    Hi

    Just wondering does anybody else have problems with Meteor in the last few weeks? When recieving a call the phone rings and then cuts out after 3 or 4 rings saying that the "caller cannot be reached at this time". I know this as I rang it from my wifes phone a couple of times. Rang Meteor 3 times and they said it was a mast problem.Meteor said the mast would be fixed that day but that was 3 weeks ago.In the Waterford city area.

    Yup, I'm finding the network is getting worse in recent months. data reception in particular can be awful. Am going to switch when my contract is up.

    Data works one minute and not the next. Their data is appaling! I'm thinking of moving to three.

    That's not a mast problem, whats wrong with that company.

    Where you cut off or had changes made to ur account recently? I know Meteors HLR has default divert to voicemail setting as 10 seconds.

    You can fix this yourself if familar with the call divert fuctions on your phone, or call them and ask for your call divert to voicemail be set to the max (30 secs).

    Just copped you don't have voicemail if it says out of reach.

    Type ##002# into your phone and press call, that should do the trick.

    Same here, only 2 months into a 24 month contract. Everything was fine for the first month typically but the last few weeks have been a nightmare, losing signal now constantly and it taking 5-10 minutes to get back. not much point having a data plan If u can't connect

    Type ##002# into your phone and press call, that should do the trick.

    Thanks but doesn't sort the problem. Will have to get onto Meteor again .Time to pull the plug I think

    I have been with them for years, but since my move to a smart phone in January, I have been overcharged three times for services I shouldn't have, my data is so problematic to access, reception is up and down like mad and they randomly stop my free calls/ texts/ mins. I have had to phone them now at least once every week or two since January :mad:

    I'm with them since last summer, working in Blackrock and data coverage is just appalling. Quality of calls has always been an issue also but the data thing has pushed me over the edge. I will be moving as soon as my contract is up in the next few months.
