Hi everyone, just got the information pack in the post from the Mater and see a very interesting procedure called Supracork with Lasik/Lasek. It seems to be treatment for both long and shortsightedness at the same time. It costs 1835.00 per eye as opposed to the ordinary Lasik/Lasek which is 1535.00 per eye. Seeing as I am over 40 I am particularly interested in this. Does anyone have any further information or experience of it?

As far as I know this procedure is early stages & does not yet have FDA approval in the US.

As the procedure works optically much like multi-focal contact lenses, I would suggest you try those first as it'll give you an idea of the outcome potential.
