Outlook 2003 problem

Long story short, I lent my laptop to a friend for 2 days, I dont know how or what she did, but my outlook 2003 is now set to get her emails.

I went to Tools/Email Accounts/ and removed her account manually and then re-added my own.

Then when I restarted outlook and lo and behold, it opens back into her account, but this time my inbox is also there, only its a sub directory within her inbox.

I uninstalled Office completely of the machine and then reinstalled it and nothing has changed whatsoever. My account is still opening up from within hers.

Can anyone advise me on what to do... Im ready to throw the laptop out the window at this stage

I'd say, she created a new profile and now you have your own email added to the new profile.

In the Mail Setup - Outlook window, click the Show Profiles button and see if there more than one profile listed.

If you have already received important mails under the new profile, you may export them and import into your old profile.
