When I was doing my LC all I wanted is to go to DIT. I had it 1st on my CAO list, NCI was like 8th. Well I got only 310 points so I got into NCI, and to be honest, I am glad I didn't get 380 Points (needed for DIT), I am happy with NCI, it's pretty good atmosphere, cool lecturers, a lot of events going on. I am doing Computer course lvl 8, and I am quite happy with it, in first module you are taught intro to computers (ms office etc..), web development (xhtml and css and bit of js), programming (java), and so. It's very good and personally I am happy with it.

I'm in my final year of the Business course so I wouldn't know anything about the school of computing. But the college itself is grand. Some absolutely incredible lecturers, one or two questionable ones, really lovely building and lovely people. Some hiccups with our course and how the modules were handled but who's perfect, eh? I will definitely miss it after finals in May! Hard to believe I won't be back next year.

I'm doing the Computing degree at night. There's loads of info on it on the NCI website. It details the exact modules you'll be doing each Semester.
