Hi, I completed a social science degree last year and took a year out to do voluntary work with the intention of going back to do a masters in social work. Since I've left college and after gaining experience I'm thinking now that I would love to become a counsellor/psychotherapist. I understand all the accreditation business and I know that the DBS hdip followed by the masters in counselling and psychotherapy is quite popular. Also, DCU now have a 4 year masters course in counselling and psychotherapy which has had good reviews. I was just wondering if anybody has been in my shoes and completed the 4 year hdip/masters after doing a non counselling undergrad degree and how they found it. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
