Not directly Cycling related...but i thought this might be the best place here to ask.

Has anyone sent a pair of glasses into Oakley's Irish repair center?

Last year i was given an address out Sandyford way, but didn't get round to it.

This week i was given an address in Mullingar. No other contact details were supplied. I found a phone number by chance, but that's not working.

From what i can tell, you just put the glasses in a box, send them off and wait until you hear from them.

It all sounds a bit random, and i'm kind of antsy about just sending off a pair of 200+ glasses, not knowing what's happening to them.

So , like the title says anybody use Oakley's Irish repair center?

    Anyone?

I used them about 2 years ago. I was a bit apprehensive about sending them off, but they swapped the frame for me and had it back about 10 days later. For once I was pleasantly surprised about a company's customer service!

The address is Mullingar is fine, I chanced my arm last year with a five year old pair, got a call two weeks later saying the frame was too old and they didn't have spares so they gave me 40% off a new pair!

Have used them twice now for the same set and cost me somthing like 20 Euro last time for new frames (M or Square type I think)

Very good service and reason I just bought a second pair.
