At 30c per SMS, ButText is too expensive for me.

So I wrote a powershell script to grab RTPI info from Dublin Bus website, log on to 'My Tesco Mobile' website and send web text to my own mobile phone (for free).

I run the script when I leave home or work to catch a bus. The script sends several SMS at fixed time interval. So I get updated info as I walk to the bus stop and wait at the bus stop.

If someone's interested, I can post my script here. It's specific to Tesco Mobile. The part of the script that log on to a website and send web text has to be re-written for it to work with other mobile companies.
