The college has delegated authority from the HEA so awards them in their own name the same as DIT, UCD, TCD etc.

All bodies with Delegated authority fall under the HEA standards for awards so are comparable with each other.

In other words a Level 8 degree awarded by Tallaght is recognised exactly the same as a Level 8 award awarded by DCU, TCD etc.
