I have a dog the last 12 months, I dont know if the dog got his first shots.
Is it safe to give the dog his yearly booster? Will it do him any harm if he had not got the first shots?

The initial course of vaccinations is two shots 2 to 4 weeks apart and a third 12 months later. The dog can't have a booster if it hasn't had the full course initially. You need to start at the beginning. You could ask the vet if they can test the dogs immunity first if you want to be sure you aren't over vaccinating.
