Hello everyone I'm 25 lost my job last August after doing an apprenticeship in refrigeration but work fried up, I'm still on my job seekers benefit until August but I would love to do a corse in nutrition but they are all so dear and can anyone tell me do I qualify as a mature student, could I still get paid from social welfare even when my stamps run out in August?

You would most likely need to do a degree in nutrition and dietetics via DIT/TCD to qualify as a dietician which is the professional employable qualification. This a very difficult, science orientated 4 years degree. At 25 you would qualify as a mature student but as far as I know you would have to have applied by Feb 1st for next September.
