Is there a school in Cork, Tip, Waterford area that tolerates swearing?

My son has a medical diagnosis of Tourettes syndrome. He doesn't swear continually only when he is stressed. He had 3 successful years at school where his teacher just ignored his swearing and fortunately his classmates all found it funny so there were no complaints from parents. When he moved into second class he had a new teacher who took his swearing personally and would tell him off for it which stressed him perpetuating the problem. This led to several suspensions. Eventually we went to section 29 to appeal the suspensions to try and bring a halt to them. We lost our appeal as swearing at a teacher was a gross misconduct in the school behavior policy and the policy made no allowance for Tourettes. We eventually removed him from that school but unfortunately we our now having the same problem with the new school. Please could anyone tell me if there are any mainstream schools in the Cork, Tipperary, Waterford boarder areas that will tolerate my sons swearing.

I don't really want to get into what we have tried and who we have or have not contacted because it just makes me angry how the education authorities abandon you when you have a child that doesn't fit into the realms of normal.
That's why I have come to this site to hopefully just get an answer from a parent or teacher that may see this thread and say " yes our school will tolerate his swearing".
I apologise to Byhookorbycrook if that sounds rude but I have had enough of trying to get help from the education departments.

I only suggested the SENO as they would be better placed to know the schools in their area.

To be honest, you're not going to get any teacher responding as you hope, to a thread on a public forum like this. Each child has to be considered individually by a school and Board of Management if they are transferring, and it would be very unprofessional for a teacher to get your hopes up without knowing the full situation.

I completely understand and empathise with your frustration, I've worked with a lot of children with different needs, and the whole process of trying to get help is ludicrous.

Mod Note: E.T. has made the correct answer, no school is going to take this on online. Locking thread.
