anybody know anything about edimax wi-fi extenders?

I have one of these set up in a cabin at the end of the garden and it works great, fantastic speeds where my original router (d-link 655) was just out of range. My problem is that I want to strean video files to an xbox 360 beside the edimax - but the edimax shows up as a completely seperate network to my home network,…

My problem is that I want to strean video files to an xbox 360 beside the edimax - but the edimax shows up as a completely seperate network to my home network, therefor no shared folders. Is there a way around this?
