    The Maxol in Artane I think it is has to be the worst garage going.

    First off it's a pre pay site, not that I have a problem with this, well actually I do, you buy 10 euros worth of petrol and the pump stops at 9.97.

    But my major rant is this, I was really stuck early this morning, petrol really low and I only had a 5 euro note nothing else. So I went in, asked for 5 petrol on pump 6, only to be informed that there is a minimum spend of 10 euros on fuel.

    Needless to say, I found it funny that they we refusing my sale because I wasn't spending the right amount, I went to Topaz up the road who happily took my 5 euro note.

    Personally I hope the garage hits the wall. I won't be going there again for fuel.

    Its quite crazy that they wouldnt sell you a fiver. What about people filling cans for lawn mowers /small bikes etc? I bought 7.50 yesterday in a can. If they refused me that, they would lose all my petrol purchases

    Theres a garage on the N3 that actually chains the petrol pumps and won't unlock them for less than €20 worth of petrol :eek:

    That place used to get picketed and then boycotted by the locals a few years ago
    Owned by the Butterly family

    Find somewhere else OP, there is a Topaz at the junction of Collins Ave and Malahide Rd

    Still can't belive it really, went into a car park around that direction also. I was going the correct way around the car park following the arrows, then some crazy lady started going nuts at me cause she was going the wrong way :confused: . Is there something in the water up there?
