    Hey guys,

new enough to Android. This sounds mad, but does anyone know is it possible for someone with an android phone nearby, to try to chat with your phone, if you're not friends, like through Bluetooth, even if your Bluetooth is off.

reason being, I keep getting a notification saying "Superxcatx wants to chat with you; accept or decline" I declined a few times, then showed my bf who is an Android whiz, and he couldn't see where it was coming from. (it's not through WhatsApp, or any app like Gchat or Msn) it just pops up on the homescreen.
My neighbour is a weirdo, dunno if it's him.

Any idea? it's not major, just a bit annoying. Btw, it's not a pop-up either, cause it happens when i'm not on the net too.

    Thanks Emma :) x

What phone did you get? Might be one of the pre-installed apps

I wonder is it an airpush ad? This would be due to an app you installed, there is an app in the market which will check if any of your installed apps have airpush ads, and then you could get rid of/block them

    Just a thought
